Please contact our golf shop at golfacademy@quaillodge.com or 831-620-8808 for booking lesson appointments with our teaching staff. Guests' lessons are best accommodated between 10am to 2pm, from Tuesday to Sunday. Our cancellation policy is strictly enforced.

Katherine Marren

Katherine Marren, Director of Instruction at The Quail Golf Club, is an award-winning PGA of America member whose expertise has landed her recognition by a number of professional golf organizations and publications, including Golf Digest and Golf Magazine. Her teaching style is defined by her relaxed approach to the game, with a focus on patience and genuine care for her student’s improvement.

Brent Webber

PGA 1st Assistant Golf Professional

With over 40 years of golf industry experience, Brent Webber joined The Quail Golf Club in January 2022 as the PGA 1st Assistant Golf Professional. He enjoyed most of his career in the Seattle area working at clubs like Seattle Golf Club and Everett Golf & Country Club, where he spent 15 years as the Head Golf Professional. Following that position, he and his wife Kathi relocated to Northern California where Brent spent 1 year as the PGA 1st Assistant Golf Professional at Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club before relocating to the Monterey Peninsula and joining the Golf Professional Staff at The Quail Golf Club. Brent enjoys the membership here at Quail as well as giving lessons to golfers of all skill levels.

Cory Watt

Assistant Golf Professional

Cory Watt is a level 2 associate in the PGA of America, working towards his Class A Membership. A native to the Monterey Peninsula, Cory has enjoyed a 9+ year career in Golf working at Bayonet & Blackhorse before joining the Golf Professional staff here at The Quail Golf Club. Throughout his career, Cory has spent many hours teaching as well as being an advocate and a certified instructor for PGA Hope, a program designed for Veterans and Active-Duty Military to be introduced to golf through PGA Professionals with the goal of enhancing their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. Cory loves the game of golf and looks forward to being able to work with players of all skill levels.

Fees, Check In & Cancellation Policy:

Please check in and pay at the golf shop before your lesson. The Quail Lodge golf shop accepts all major credit cards.
Students are welcome to check in and warm up 30 minutes prior to their scheduled lesson appointment.
Cancellations of 50 minute lessons are subject to charge within 48 hours.
Cancellations of clinics, lessons or schools that are longer than 60 minutes are subject to charge within 72 hours.
