Open year-round, the Land Rover Experience Driving School at Quail Lodge & Golf Club provides customized off road driving lessons and adventure for all skill levels in California. Guided by your qualified instructor, you'll make steep descents down a two-track trail, climb piles of logs and navigate tight hairpin turns. Lessons and programs range from one hour to multiple days.

Land Rover Experience Driving Lessons

Climb behind the wheel of your choice of Land Rover for a truly memorable off-road experience with the Land Rover Experience Driving School. Our dedicated course is composed to provide an exciting outdoor adventure of endless obstacles including ascents, descents, side-tilts, log crossings, and rock crawls. Customized private lessons cover expedition-style, off-road driving and proper Tread Lightly procedures. Whether this is your first time off-road, or you have advanced experience, the lesson will provide elements and terrain that will increase your knowledge and ability. (Lessons are required before booking trails.) One Hour Lesson (designed for one guest) : $275 per vehicle. Two Hour Lesson (designed for 1, 2 or 3 guests): $425 per vehicle.

Land Rover Driving Full Day Experience

The Land Rover Driving School's Full Day Experience is an intriguing adventure that offers a truly unique and diversified experience. Start with a customized lesson on Land Rover's purpose-built obstacle course, and then continue on an extensive trail of challenging terrain where you will cover a variety of advanced off-road techniques. Each Full Day Experience includes a picnic lunch and a Land Rover Experience gift. Full Day (maximum of three guests per vehicle): $1,200 per vehicle.

Once you have completed a lesson, try your new skills on more difficult open terrain surrounding the historic Quail Lodge & Golf Club. There are over 80 acres of hills, descents, wooded trails, sand traps, rocks and other real-world obstacles to explore. These trails will increase your skill level and introduce more advanced driving techniques such as winching, vehicle recovery and expedition travel or other topics you wish to explore with your private instructor. Two Hour Trail (maximum of three guests per vehicle):  $425 per vehicle.
